Re: "...much more serious problems than gas prices"?effingjenMarch 21 2005, 05:20:50 UTC
cool. i'm glad you don't consider thousands of people dying a threat, or an attack on our way of living to be terrorism.
there's really no point in us arguing over this. i highly doubt either of our opinions would be changed. however i must say, whether or not bush is a great leader, i very much doubt kerry could fix anything at all.
and aside from politics, it really shows a severe lack of maturity and "higher education" to put someone down that you that you don't know, or to consider someone to be "less educated folk" from reading one comment they left on livejournal.
and by the way, maybe I, my dear fried, lol, was simply conveying sarcasm as well.
psh, just chillin. did you end up going back home? i'm still pretty much just going to school and rockin out. i'm hardly ever online anymore, but next time i see you on aim, i'll hit you up. anyway, peace out.
wow, thanks anthony. thought you were a little more mature than that, didnt expect you to be the kind of person to take a stab at someone for wanting people to have respect for each other. never said i couldnt handle it, i handle naive and immature people all the time, just because you dont like to deal with something doesnt mean you can't handle it.
anyway, hope things are going well for you over there. wish i could say it was nice to talk to you since we hadn't in so long, but well, it really wasn't.
easy there killer. i didn't take a stab at anyone. you expressed your oppinion, and then she expressed hers. you made a very VERY general statement regarding kerry and someone responded to it, defending their end of the political spectrum. she didn't even disrespect what you said. you're taking offense because her argument was more informed and better stated than yours. there's no hate or immaturity coming from anyone but you. well, and eric, but that's expected.
i'm sorry that our long-awaited catchup conversation wasn't more pleasant for you. i'm not mad, and i still like you. if these feelings aren't mutual, then i wish you well. otherwise, have a good day.
"See...I think my dear friend, lol, Anthony was trying to convey sarcasm through connecting the trivial issue of gas prices (because SS alone can't fund this war) to the Bush administration to the less educated folk

JenE2587: hence, the reason i hate politics, some people just cannot find it in them to respect others' opinions.
as they say, if you can't take the heat...
