Doctor Who - 5x01 - picspam
Why hello, Doctor. I mentioned that the Doctor sometimes looked weird and other times ridiculously cute, but there's a certain charm to him always. He's quite funny and very, very quirky. And he's so spazzy, I love that lol. I don't watch a lot of British shows, so sometimes I can't understand the dialogue because of the accents. This isn't helped by the fact that I think the Doctor talks a mile a minute. D: I'm getting used to it, though.
Aww, Little Amy. I just want to pinch her cheeks, lol. She is an adorable, precocious thing. It was absolutely the sweetest when she was cooking for him.
But of course he goes and eats fish sticks and custard. Um..? LOL.
But despite his weirdness, she trusts him enough to want to go with him on big adventures. I was so sad when she was sitting on her suitcase waiting for him because I knew what would happen. I mean, SAD MUSIC WAS PLAYING. But aw, just look at the sneaky smile he gives her and the big grin back. Too CUTE.
And while waiting, Amy grows up. With fabulous hair. Oh, but she's pissed. BECAUSE HE'S 12 YEARS LATE.
Also, may I say that Prisoner Zero looks terrifying? I mean, the CGI is not all that great, but ugh, it still is the stuff of nightmares. I can't believe it's been hiding in her house for so long.
But he gives her back her apple and there's lens flare so everything's okay. Oh and Doctor's puppy dog look helps.
Oh but if that didn't convince her, I'm sure the stripping did.
The premise of the episode was actually pretty clever and kind of exciting. The Doctor is smart, which I've heard that he is, but seeing it for myself is kind of cool. Also, he takes Amy along and unlike when she was a little kid, she's a little hesitant. Understandable. Girl's getting married (I wonder if her fiance knows about her being a kissogram..?) and was left waiting for 12 years before. :> It didn't seem like she really wanted to get married, though. Also, I think she's still really enamoured with the Doctor. Who wouldn't be? He's exciting!
Can't wait to see what the next episode will bring!
