Making a PSA to your friends list bashing other fans in a fandom that are in your friends list is a no-no with me. I will remove you immediately. The person who did the bashing this time isn't on my flist, but I followed a link to the post. I'm glad I don't know him/her. S/he seems like a really unpleasant person, partially for the original post, but mostly for the replies to comments left from people who don't agree with him/her.
I have a lot of respect for you for speaking up on the post and voicing your disagreement. You did so civilly but with conviction.
What really saddened me were the people who replied with support for the bashing and even joined in. Some were on my flist. It was a slap in the face to know what they really think of me.

I'm glad you agree. I was beginning to feel like I was too sensitive; this is the internet and all that. But you know what? People on my flist are generally so great. They never, ever bash other fans. When I used to watch Glee, people would bash Rachel all the time and I was perfectly fine with that. They never bashed Rachel fans and I never bashed them for their opinions. I thought that was just being decent, you know?

I've been in the crosshairs before, and it's not fun. If you despise my presence so much, why do you keep me on your flist?
