Hanna Movie Review

You know, I had this huge review planned for Hanna...But now I've kinda lost wind. Hanna was one of those movies I was really excited for, and like most movies this year so far, it was mostly disappointing. The tl;dr version of my review is...I think Hanna tried to be a meaningful, high-art film, but it ended up falling short of that. It was just

THANK YOU for saying SP sucked!! Everything I've read/seen about SP made it sound horrible. Which in turn I refuse to spend $10.50 on a ticket to go see it. Well my b/f saw it w/ a friend of his and they were both like "OMGZ BEST MOVIE EVER!!" and he stares at me as I'm like 'nope not going to pay to see it....'

Well...I can see why guys might like it, lol. But even then, the action sequences were (in my opinion) very badly choreographed and ZS went crazy with the slow motion stuff.

When I saw the trailer for Hanna I still had no clue what the movie was about...

God, Sucker Punch was AWFUL.

I agree, Sucker Punch was just awful - art direction, choreography, character development, etc. EVERYTHING. The trailer was so deceiving.

It definitely could’ve been better, it seemed like all she did in the movie was run I was expecting more action.
