Entry No o3. Reunions & Changes.
[ written on pen & paper in Luke's personal diary ]
I'm on board the Victoria II now. Apparently from what I've heard (no thanks from the guy who smokes as if there's no tomorrow, ungh) this ship is the flagship of the Ivona nation, and apparently Peony's here as a delegate from home. As is Margrace, apparently - Peony's alright (if you ignore the annoying rappigs) but Margrace is just... no. Why the hell is he even here anyway?! Is life really that bent on making me miserable here? This just isn't making sense at all, dammit...
Peony... I met him back when I was wandering in Bellcius, and he seemed really concerned about me. I'm really glad actually that I've managed to find someone I could trust in here now, even though he's been kind of sparse recently. But I guess he has a lot of things to do after all, being a prince and a delegate and everything to top it all off. Still, I wish he paid more attention to me. There's nothing much to do here - though then again there wasn't much to do back on the Silvana either, aside from being suspected of a bomb attack and subsequently held prisoner in their holding cells. Its a good thing that was cleared up quickly enough.
I also met Jade - that friend of Peony's who he keeps on rambling about and even has one of his rappigs named after him - well, more of talked to him through these journal things, but I met him all the same. The only thing I can say is that I can see why Peony's such good friends with him - they're both weird. And vaguely annoying. Jade moreso than Peony. Why does Peony make friends with all the strange weird creepy people anyway?! That makes no sense at all.
The ship's also just recovering after an attack by... what did they call them again. Yetis? Yeah, something like that. I mean, what the hell yetis. That makes no goddamn sense. Why would yetis just attack something without reason? They caused a hell lot of annoyance all around, and that guy (whoever he is, Peony mentioned he was related to Jade somehow) who was supposed to take care of the ship while the captain and first mate (I thought Father's friends were odd enough, but the fashion sense of those two were totally in a different league of their own) were away with some other officers on some mission or another involving illegal animals. Only that the yetis caused everything to go haywire and everything tumbled down from there.
I wanted to go out and help fight, but Peony wouldn't let me. Said it'd be too dangerous. Dammit, I've survived on that crap shipwreck of the Montague for two months; this was nothing I couldn't handle! But still, he wouldn't let me, and it wasn't I even had a choice in the matter at any rate. At least the attack's over now though, and at least Margrace and everyone else is alright. I wouldn't want to see anyone dying or anything because of this whole incident.
Not too sure what's going to happen, but if everyone's now busy and not paying attention to me I'm going to go somewhere and train until the captain returns. Its better than just sitting down here and twiddling my thumbs in boredom anyway.
