Isabella came home finally on Saturday. Of course the first thing she did was apologize for not being here for me during the earthquake. I told her it was all good, that Eva and Penn had checked on me. I took her down to her new office on Sunday, she seemed to really like it

*smiles at her*

Hey Iz, I was gonna see if there was anything on T.V. Why, what's up?

I just haven't had a chance to talk to you since I got back, really. Thought if you had a minute we could?

Sure. How was your trip, by the way?

Why, what's going on? Do they get crazy after an earthquake or something? 'Cause they didn't seem that much diff---um, what makes you think people are going to get hurt or killed?

I don't know what's going on for sure. All I have is a gut feeling and Auntie Lily's cryptic warnings. Penn tends to agree that things seem like they are gonna get bad.

*looks at her*

I'm torn here, kid. I want you to stay. Cause I just found you and haven't had anytime to spend with you it seems. But I want you to be safe. In the end though, the decision has to be yours.

Well, I'm staying here with you. No way you're gonna go though whatever this badness that's gonna happen here alone.

Penn gave me a stake, I can ask him to show me how to use it.

I guess I don't even give it a second thought anymore. He's Penn to me, not Penn the demon or Penn the pixie. *smiles and shrugs* I care more about who he is as a person than anything else.

*looks at her*

But you can't even begin to compare Penn to Ralph. It's like apples and oranges. Ralph isn't as bad as he'd like to think he is, and he's helped us out on a few occassions, but hanging out with him might get you into trouble you're not ready for. I'm not trying to be overprotective big sister here. Really I am not. Its just an entirely different set of things you have to look out for.

Whoa, Pixies are demons? So is like Tinkerbell a demon, too?

And you've totally got the wrong idea about Ralph and I. I'm not looking for a relationship, with him or anyone else, I'm so not a relationship kinda girl. He's not a relationship kinda guy, it works out.

Okay, Tinkerbell is a fictional character. You can't even catagorize her. Cause she's not real.

*sighs*

Yeah well, you know, sometimes even bed buddies can end up getting you hurt. I'm not going to argue with you or tell you not to see him, cause I know that'll only make you more determined to do it. Just be careful, I guess.
