That's a lovely write-up. I am curious as to how one might get to Pushkar; ie, private car, railroad, bus? What is possible and what, in your opinion, is the best way there?

Hey Asha,
Where are you getting there from? If New Delhi you can drive (07 hrs), take the train to Ajmer and then a taxi onwards to Pushkar (only about 45km) or if you are in Mumbai then fly into Jaipur and drive (03hrs - 100kms)

Closest airport is Jaipur, Railhead is Ajmer. Orchard can provide you a pick up from Ajmer. You can visit their website at www.orchard.in

I love going there for the absolute calm and the laid back attitude. Shopping is great too :)

Its really fantastic,I like this post very much, why not to book cheap international air ticket to know this place more closely.
