Hi

As you may have noticed, for reasons we described earlier, the results got delayed and we had an event marking the same only by end of November. Last month, the prizes, etc. were co-ordinated and we are now in contemplation whether to go with a publisher or publish it ourselves. Will keep all informed as plans materialize.

Meanwhile, keep writing and do share some of your pieces here too! We hope to make India Writing a hub for all forms of creative expression in writing, and constantly look to its members for their involvement and suggestions to make it happen.

Look forward :)

Thanks Manpreet for the prompt reply. Hope Livejournal takes a decision soon, I'd love to see all the short-listed entries in book-form.

Gee, that's nice to know. I've taken to thinking that all of you have taken a decision not to go ahead with the book (it is after all, a bunch of stories written by a bunch of amateurs).

Glad to know it's just a question of 'who' to publish it with rather than 'whether' to publish it or not :-)

Well, I don't think livejournal is really interested in bringing out the flash fictions in a book form. Perhaps it was merely a ploy to get as many livejournal subscribers as possible. Wish they had been honest about it though.
