I had severe issues with season 6 and had already decided not to watch season 7. But I read episode reactions after the first few to see if I had made the right choice and I REALLY HAD.

Darn it. That's not promising. I'm a completist though so I'll probably slog through.

I have to agree! I'll still see how it turns out I just know its not going to turn out the way I want.

I've never seen season 7. I got so disillusioned with season 6 that I couldn't continue, part of me wants to see it through to the finale... but I'm afraid I'd hate it. I remember there being some really negative fan reactions to it.

I'm sure I'll watch all the way through even if I do hate it. I can always hold everything season 5 and earlier as "my show."

I tend to do that just with season 4 mostly because I hate Rory's storyline in seasons 5 and 6 and it made me hate her. If I could remove the Dean/Rory subplot from "Raincoats and Recipes" it would have been the perfect season/series finale.

Basically, yeah. I think I gave up a few episodes into s7. However, honestly, I would totally recommend just watching the finale (like I did, randomly, the night it aired). For me, it closed out the show on a wonderful, open-ended note.

Knowing myself I'm probably going to watch the whole thing anyway. Might be tortuous but I'll do it. Having watched every other episode I'm not sure I can give up.
