I watched An Inconvenient Truth today, and it blew me away. The devastation and ignorance regarding what is happening on our planet is overwhelming. My eyes became misty, and I cried sporadically. But I wear my tears like a badge of integral honor

I was going to watch this, but then I realised I just don't care about the planet. I'll die in a few decades time anyway.

it's so frusterating what's happening to our world, especially because so much of it is avoidable, or could at least be slightly improved through a bit of effort.
