Of course we can! I wouldn't recommend it though. My sister just called me and was like..."Yeah I knew you went to the beat because I spoke to clare last night". I was like "WHAT?"...I had totally forgotten that she even called my phone and that clare answered...how drunk was I? This is cause for concern I feel.

Please can I go next Sunday? Im so there. Embarassingly enough... my first weekend in Brisbane ever, I did not know ONE SOUL. I literally just got in a cab from my hotel and said "can I please go to fortitude valley?" and he dumped me outside the beat and I just went in there. By myself. I stayed for ages. Hahah! After a few hours I was tipsy and got really freaked out by how cheesey it was and just wandered out into the street to find the first mildly indie-music looking person I could find (whatever it is they look like) so that I could ask for direction and help. I found John Mullen and said "Excuse me, I really need help." I think he gave me a street press and sent me to the zoo. I never went back to the beat, and John still laughs about it! But Im keen to go there on a Sunday with you and clare and thommo.
