I know, I know, expo 88 is a fucking cool name for a song...but...hmmm. Look, if anyone actually reads this thing, then here is the deal. We have a song currently titled "fairytales for grown ups" which has already been poo-pooed as an idea by more than one brisbane muso. Ian wants to call the song Expo 88...not because it has ANYTHING to do with expo 88, but because we "borrowed" the vibe of it from another song...called expo 86. That's right, fans of death cab for cutie will know that they have this rad song called expo 86. My issue with calling ours expo 88 is if they randomly ever found out, i think it could be kinda weird. I guess we are just paying our dues...but I don't know, something about it makes me mildly uncomfortable. See my predicament?
