Shouldn't Boys Night Out have an apostrophe in it?

Just a thought.

Indeed. Technically though the way they spell it is completely wrong, it'd be either Boy's for one boy having a night out or Boys' for multiple boys having a night out. Grammar is a lost art.

True, but personally if I was naming my band, I'd want to make myself not look like a moron.

Technically you're looking at it as if it was a boy's or boys' night out. However I am sure 'boys night out' is refering to a night out for boys and not a night out belonging to a boy or a group of boys. But as Rosie said its a band name.

That makes no sense though, the only way that it can be spelled without the apostrophe is if it's not in any way possessive and is just the plural of boy. However if their name is referring to the non-possessive plural then that still makes no sense.

It's clearer if you change boy for another word with an irregular plural form:
Plural - "Mice Night Out" makes no sense.
Possessive - Mouse's Night Out" does make sense.

Don't get me wrong though, I really don't care... it doesn't affect their music in anyway. I was just pointing it out.
