Now, this is interesting. If you are an LJ-er you'll have read about it already, but yeah, interesting development. It's interesting to see how may UK LJ people were moaning about The Independent in the new LJ UK community, but come on. That's very surprising, but it shows that there's still some life left in LJ yet :D

What makes you unhappy about LJ now (out of curiosity)?

Russian spam mostly at the moment is what's annoying me (though it's become a little bit better as of late). Also, a lot of my LJ friends have either stopped posting or left LJ for one reason or another, which I do find kinda sad, as they've all come across as nice enough, interesting people. Perhaps I just need to get a bit more active in the communities I'm a member of.

The Communities definitely make it more interesting. I personally wish that they went back to the tokens way of doing things - each person would have a few and they'd give the codes to their mates - cuts out spam :)

As for people not using it, I've found that people leave but come back at some point, there's nothing quite like LJ when it comes to interaction - FB and MySpazz just aren't the same.
