That train jaunt sounds amazing! In Sheffield they used to have this thing called Folk Train every Summer, where you got on board an old train and were serenaded by professional folk musicians, stopping at various pubs across the Pennines on the way. I don't know if they still do it. Indietracks sounds even better though!
Congrats on passing your test! I've known many people come a-cropper on the Hazard Perception part, which can be really unfair (I know one guy who was marked down for 'clicking too fast', for instance) and I only just passed it myself.
Thanks! And yes, the hazard perception test is a bit bonkers. I was lucky enough to find a few free practice tests online the night before the test, and if I didn't run through those, I'm sure I would've failed. I did get a mark of zero on one clip, and I still don't know why that was, as I wasn't clicking too fast. Never mind. At least I don't have to do it again! :D
The Folk Train sounds really fun! Indietracks do a festival apparently, so I may investigate going again (in warmer weather)!
