If it's any consolation: the amp was born circa 1965, and therefore the volume is either at half mast or OFF. Past ten there is no way I can have it on, since the volume is permanently st at ear-bleeding.
Still, I'm so stoked I could write a congressman. :D
I have an antiquey record player I got for my 16th birthday that I love, but the volume will only adjust to two levels; I either have to lay with my head against it to hear it or plug my ears because it's so loud.
Plus, it's so old that it can't handle punk albums. Everything else sounds OK, but I tried to play Against Me the other day and it sounded awful, haha.

Not that I could fit turntables into my place, but still.
