the only loop-hole with the plan is that if the dentist won't let you use the whitestrips he may become skeptical about using them himself. You could say that your mom gets them for free and her dentist is switching to a new brand (so you have TONS just sitting around). He'd be doing you guys a favor by taking them off your hands :)
