Standard blog practice is to make a post before you leave on an extended vacation ("I'm going on a trip!" or perhaps even a preemptive "I'm planning a trip!"). Somehow that slipped my mind....

In any case, sarahrowe and I went to Europe for slightly over a month. It was probably expensive (I haven't checked my VISA balance yet) but it was a ton of fun. ( Read more... )

And, no, there's definitely nothing wrong with catastrophic shoulder injuries.

I'd love to come, but unfortunately I'll be flying out to Seattle on Saturday (I start work next Monday).

Welcome back! Glad you had a great trip.
I had a catastrophic shoulder injury while you were gone, so I think that balances things out.
