You know what makes me really happy...? Seeing "Starting MS-DOS..." come up on a monitor. The familiar nuances of DOS bring back warm and fuzzy childhood memories of pooting around my old PS/2. Back then, I had a swanky NEC MultiSync 2A monitor to enjoy Wolfenstein on. Good times.

No, man! Norton Commander was a resource hog. The available memory screen in Wolf3D would be lower if I ran it from there.

I remember being the most 1337 of our group of friends in school. I had the 0-day release of Doom, but because I was rockin' a 286 at the time, I couldn't play the protected-mode game. I got to hear from my friends how awesome it was for a whole year until I got a 486.
