i'm teaching 2nd grade now in a school that is too beautiful for words. it's a magnet school whose focus is on providing quality education to children of impoverished areas of the city. i have all the resources i need and (for now) very, very supportive staff, including two other 2nd grade teachers who are the most wonderful beings on the planet. i

i got placed last thursday and school began yesterday. i'm really lucky but at the same time very overwhelmed and a little terrified.
