Dueling... Acamoth?

She collapsed; pain ripping through every part of her body. She saw the flash of faces of everyone she cared about washing over her... so many people she had to tell goodbye. The last thing she remembered was seeing the hot red of blood starting to pool around her.

She had walked into the bar in Vegas just content to be around people in her own odd way. THe night was alright as she slinked from one group to the other, just saying hello to the people she knew. The night was fun and she was having an intersting time- untill she felt it. She was waking near the bar and she felt the voices of the ana in her head getting louder. She heard them resonate with a different vibration... she felt soemthing echoing off of her.... there was something there.... the ana born to this place.... The vibration was to someone ele's frequency and not her own. She froze and her expression went to something of seriousness.

Over the various mental links she held in her head she warned her family, "The Ana is here." For a moment everyone was confused untill someone clarified.... She repeated, "Ana here. Something dark..." Indigo sat there for a moment and concentrated. She told the others she would find it. She started a careful pattern around the room Moving between the people like threding a needle; she walked like a ghost and people seemed to just move away as she approached her whole aura screaming predator....

Finally she came to Bob and the woman. She felt her whole body tremble- it was the woman and the voices in her head went wild- this was no scelesti- this was worse this was different... pure.... She knew the woman for what she was; more spirit than human.

She stood for just a moment her lithe form haulting in her dance as Indigo sent the final message, "It's her- she is the dark"

The trap was sprung, and htey others got Bob away from the beast. Indigo felt accomplished. She smiled, she was going to let them finish off the beast and that would be that. She watched them and finally they contained it quietly- or so they thought. They placed it in San's pocket realm but it was eating away at San, so they all left the bar into the realm. The crystaline realm shone and sparkled, she could get lost there. Lost in the shining of the light- except for the beast that was a black mote in the pure place. She inched closer to it- watching it- studying it. she unconsciously mimicked it's snakelike movement. It screamed and wailed; she could hear the echoes of his anger in her head. She took a moment and she could understand his words. It's anger fueled her own and she snickered at it....

They wanted to leave and blow up the realm, but that was risky. It could hurt San and let the beast thing go. She watched as it began to slip it's chains, they pulled her away as she spewed back curses at it.

Had anyone there understood the words spoken between the spirit and the girl they may have realized just how similar they really were. Both girl and beast loathed each other with a definate palpabe hatred. The girl loathed the beast for what it was; the beast loathed the girl for the powers she posessed. Not many would be able to weild the abyss' power back at it and she was the first.

Everyone returned to the belagio, and Indigo heard the discussion on the destruction of the beast- yet her mind was elsewhere. She wanted to be near it- to watch it, she wanted to learn more of her enemy. TH esudden relization that they were going to drain it's essence into themselves made her wince. "You are what you eat- I have way I can kill it." They all turned their eyes upon her. She explained and after a moment of stunned silence and a few protection spells later she moved back into the pocket realm.

Everyone watched in stunned silence as the girl challenged the beast to a form of duel. She called it Accetro Bathrum. The spirit laughed- but accepted. All of her mana and three favors for it's return to the abyss for 100 years. Smoke was upset- he just wanted to kill it, he didn't understnad the true beauty of that plan. The acamoth would return to the abyss weakened and easy enough prey that he would cause fighting for the kill- weakening the abyss just enough; but if she did it enough...

She drew her favorite weapons for the duel; twin axes that coud shift and change. She didn't flinch against the beast as it spewed words of hatred. She returned his words in her own language. It was strong- against it she felt small and weak- but she steeled herself against it's many blows. SHe definatly wasn't ready for it's first deadly strike into her true flesh, but she kept going- she pushed herself to continue far past the point that was safe. Finally as she knew one last blow would break her completly her axes became a whip and lashing out one last time she struck at the beast her whip wrapping around his neck. As she pulled with a desire to rip it's head off the beast chose the least deadly of the two options and returned to the abyss screaming in defeat.

Finally after the battle that felt like an eternity her mind regained a semblance of normalicy untill she felt the first wave of the excruciating pain coursing through her small frame.... she collapsed to the sight og her blood pooling around her.
