After returning from a small dinner with friends, on my door step was a 8x10 thin white paper bag. On the outside of the bag was printed, the LOUVRE, inside was one of the best gifts in the history of gifts given to me. It is a 8x10 print of the (cropped) La Jeune Martyre, by Paul Delaroche. A beautiful painting. I'm semi-obsessed with that romantic style - I expect paintings to be beautiful, and clear, no matter what the subject matter is. Luminous. The little halo rising (or descending?) is so good. Such good taste. And it suits your purity of heart.
