Aw - that is so much better than finding a potato with Jesus' face in it (which seems to be the norm.) The problem is in eating such a wonderful thing - you kinda just want to keep it forever but can't.

I enjoyed eating my oddly shaped mushroom :) However, I did once come across a sealed chocolate bar wrapper than was filled with nothing air. Which obviously I couldn't eat, annoyingly, but it seemed such an oddity that I couldn't bring myself to throw it out.

Aww.

I recently got a mushroom with two stalks. It was very tasty, but I also took photos before eating it.

I wonder if this is related to the recent change in the law on amusing shaped vegetables (assuming it affects mushrooms too).

This one was in a pack of Sainsbury's Basics Mushrooms, y'know the ones which are about £1.60 for an enormous pack which covers all of one's mushroomy needs right down the entire week. There's no way this would have made it into a 'normal' pack of shrooms. We love our freaky veg (not in a a touchy-feely way).

Somehow it looks a little obscene.
