tbh I *mostly* love the snow...when it's falling, when it's fresh, not so much when it's just black and icy. My inner child wants winter wonderlands and time to go sledding much more than it gets.

Christmas is a lot like New Years. I love the day, the food, the presents, the fact that everywhere gets covered in lights. But I don't like the way months ahead of time people hassle you to make plans about it, and then it suddenly creeps up and then I'm like Shit I have so much to do!!!

I've almost been away from Boston long enough to like snow again. That many years of shovelling or trying to do anything in several feet of frozen snow for a couple of months will dampen most people's enthusiasm for it.

Yes indeed. I love London snow! It falls, it's pretty and magical, and then it's not there. Win.

The disgusting brown slush we can certainly do without. To me one of the worst places for this is in tube station entrances / ticket halls, where you can clearly see the all dirt and slush just sliding around on the floor and it's so damn slippery you always feel like you're about to fall arse over tit right in it...

No snow here, as yet. The forecasts say maybe Friday.
