What a crazy fourth session!  I can't even remember all of it.  But there were some highlights of activity...  The Sunday church check-out/check-in was far more hectic than usual, as was the Friday early leaving rush.  I yelled at a couple of girls for popping a tent-mate's blister with a needle, and distracting her by making her sniff nail polish ( Read more... )

story about the girls, nail polish and 911 = o.0... the depths of other people's stupidity never ceases to amaze me. sadly.

I'm not surprised that you're having a tough time finding a teaching job here =/ I think that the STL Post Dispatch's front page ranted about layoff and cuts to teachers and the school district the day after you posted this... still, I wouldn't give up on the teaching yet. Could you go overseas and teach English again until politians and the economy stop going one-on-one?

Also, I didn't know wisdom teeth = sinus problems!

Anyhoo, it's always nice to hear from you. Glad your summer went dandy!

I mean, people are SO stupid sometimes!

Going overseas again is definitely on the agenda if I can't get anything here... or possibly even if I can. I need to stay in town at least until mid-December, though, to finish this dumb Master's degree that is making it no easier for me to find a job.

Wisdom teeth don't always = sinus problems, but mine are so far up that the hygienist said they're almost in my sinus cavities.

Good to hear from you, too! :) You're a favorite lurker of mine!
