This week was pretty good.  On Monday I moved a girl in my worst class, only she refused (nasty attitude, that one!).  So I did something I could never do in America.  I picked her up by the shoulders of her coat and carried her across the room.  She kicked and resisted, but only half-heartedly.  Then for the remainder of the class she made faces ( Read more... )

I've had some good times and bad times this week.  The worst was on Wednesday.  I started feeling sick in class, and it got so bad that I had to sit down and just have the kids read.  I could barely talk.  But after some projectile vomit in the bathroom, I felt better.  I think I must have eaten something bad.  Luckily, that was the last day of our ( Read more... )

This week has gone well.  I think that's partly to do with the fact that it was only 3 days long, and 2 of those were test days!  Oh, I love it...  And I got them all graded.  Excellent.  And most of my kids did well, aside from a few who didn't study, never come to class, or are generally dumb.
