:D Remember that was when Dar had just gotten engaged, and she waved her hand sheepishly and said "yeah - straight" and one of the many many women in the room screamed out "We love you anyway!" ? I also still remember how she changed the words of "After All" a little bit, which was really startling: "Her father raging down a spiral stair/till he found someone, her brother, his son..." Me? Obsessed? Not in a million years (Houston).

For the record, Indigo Girls came after Dar. I remember. And I remember the first time you played "The Babysitter" for me, we were sitting at your kitchen table and I instantly fell in love. And "The Pagans and the Christians," that one came second.

I'm trying to remember whom you were trying to impress though...several possibilities come to mind, you'll have to remind me :)

It has been a long time though...she's still who I listen to when I need to get away from the world and be only with myself. That might never change...
