I used to feel that way too. >__< Like I was super paranoid of adding anyone from forums on msn cause I thought they'd find me creepy (well I'm still a little afraid of that sometimes) and all my friends/people who became my friends were the ones who added me first. As for online roleplay I remember how that felt too but I think I started out rp in a sort of...nurturing environment that was understanding with nubcakes like me so it worked out in the end. :D
