1.) WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE LJ ICON
Oh god, I have like half a million, don't I? XD I like so many of them, I don't know that I could pick just one. I'm rather fond of my default icon, I really like how the design came out. The picture is of Chicago, so that's sentimental, and the lyrics are from one of my favorite Sufjan Stevens songs. I'm rather fond of
this one, too... I don't know, that picture really resonated with me when I found it, it was so sweet and so poignant. Oh, and I guess
this one, because I love the feeling of the picture, so secure and sweet.
2.) Pick one famous person, dead or living, to hang out with.
Hmmm. I don't connect a lot with famous people. Knowing me, it would probably be an author or a poet. Hmmm. I might like to hang out with Thom Yorke, Radiohead's frontman. I find him so intriguingly creative on honest in his lyrics, I'd love to pick his brain a bit.
3.) What book/movie/whatever really makes you want to write?
Oh gosh. Well, it's going to sound soooo nerdy, but there's a book series that Tolkien's son has written that details the entire creative process Tolkien went through in writing the Lord of the Rings, including lots of first drafts and details about how the characters and plot changed. It never fails to make me want to write. Also really arty, creative, and thought-provoking movies like What Dreams May Come or Heaven always make me want to write too.
4.) Outside of Spiff, any original fiction ideas floating around in your head that you might want to work on? :D
Hmmm! I've thought about revisiting my old fanfiction world and making it more original and drastically re-working it, because I do think it had some potentially good elements. I've also thought about taking some of my Spiff characters and playing with them in a different way, changing them a little, playing with that 1920s world in a slightly darker, bleaker context.
5.) Who was your favorite SAILOR SCOOOOUT :D
Oh gosh! It was Sailor Pluto for the longest time. I think I was attracted to that mysterious quality. Then it kinda became Sailor Saturn for the same reason. I liked the outer scouts when I discovered them because they had that more enigmatic, dramatic element and less of the... DURR HEEEE MEATBALL HEAD slapstick haha
