I'm almost all settled into my dorm room (I haven't finished unpacking completely yet, guess I'm just lazy). AirPort doesn't work here yet, but I will figure out why. Kinda really sucks though. D: I'm so used to being able to move around freely and use the internet! I hate this ( Read more... )

Gah, that sounds like the worst dorm room ever. DD: But yay for being at Simmons (and moving into Bob's house and everything)!

Yeah, I kinda freaked out last night and started crying. D: But I think that was being homesick or something. I was watching 21 and then I was like, "When I get back, I can take a shower and then go to bed in my own bed... oh crap, I can't" and then I was worried because I haven't met that many people yet but Pete told me that was because it was just the first day. T_T

It's actually a really cool campus, and this dorm won't be loud ever because we're so far away from all the other rooms, but that really ruins the sense of community that we're supposed to have. Most people keep their doors open all the time, but we're behind a door that leads to the stairs, so no one really comes to say hi.
