Yeah don't smoke, get the CAT scan and see what is up with it.

If the doc isn't worried then don't give it to much thought. If you can't do that get a second opinion.

CT scans are pretty benign, a chest CT will take about 10 mins in the room, a few passes through, nothing to worry about.

Remember, a nodule is not a tumor.... nodules are most often associated with Tuberculosis and Emphysems/Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder.

I didn't think TB really was around anymore? And can you REALLY get Emphysema at 26?

TB is on the rise big time because people stop taking their meds when the feel better and create drug resistant strains of TB.

Luckily we have been able to keep coming up with new strains of anti-biotics to take care of it though.

Yes you can get emphysema at 26, I have met a guy who had it at 21 (he had a bunch of other issues and died later on).

Its all how your lungs handle stuff.
