What? That was so totally the opposite of fail, I don't know what you're talking about!

This strong independent Termari is one I love. This:when women love, they love with all their being but men are a different matter altogether. It is not equivalent exchange and that is not something she’ll ever agree to.

and: mostly, she seeks out his company because he doesn’t push, let’s matters drop and leaves them be and despite the many arguments - and disagreements - that define their professional relationship, they agree on one thing unspoken: Love is troublesome.

and: In a house where fear resides like an unwanted guestTHey are lovely and go a long way to explain Temari as a person. She comes off to me, too, as someone very independent and, except for her brothers, as someone who would not seriously allow someone in. They way her relationship with Shikamaru is explained is perfect too. ( I do think they would at least have or try a relationship, but I'm not sure it would ever work out. No, really - I was so panicked you were going to leave before I finished this! D:

I'm so glad you liked it - relieved, actually, because I was afraid her relationship with Shikamaru would come on too strong and Temari would come off too, well, aggressive. And really, it's all thanks to your prompt that I was able to write this!

Women can not-be-love and still be happy. YAY! - *high fives*

You know I don't pray, but I really hope things work out for you. Trust me, by best wishes are with you! :D

I really liked this! Especially this line: There’s also Kankurou, whom she’s decided she’ll love and baby Gaara, whom she knows she should love but cannot.

I think that communicates well the way that these three aren't actually a family in the normal sense of the word.

The ending was great too, btw.

I'm glad you liked it - it's my first time writing Temari, and I was rushing to get this done on time, so I'm just happy it's not horrible. Thank you~! :D

How is this fail? O_o I think it's a brilliant and IC portrayal of Temari and her outlook on things. <333

So not a fail! I love this portrayal of Temari, and my favorite part was the one on her family. ^^

Thank you - I've always loved reading about the Sand Siblings but it was only recently after reading some works by this friend that I got into writing them! ^_^
