So I just handed in my sn_exchange assignment a little before last week, and have been on a break from LJ ever since. It's refreshing, to say the least. Anyway, I discovered that lately I've been failing quite miserably at writing porn.

NaruSakuSaku - Part One

Naruto and Sakura had taken to camping out on the front porch of the compound again, just to makes sure that Sasuke, being the dramatic bastard he was, didn’t try to pull a disappearing act on them again, on a whim.

Naruto’s nose had crinkled up with distaste at the words when Sakura had mentioned them, and they had thought long and hard about a solution to their current dilemma - something that would be solved if only they would take Sasuke’s word for it and believe that he was, in fact, staying for good this time.

But unfortunately, Sasuke had made the mistake of asking, in utter frustration, “You idiots! Do you want me to leave again?” after being stalked to the shower, of all places, by his rather paranoid teammates, who had been suffering under the delusion that Sasuke was far gone, to the point of cutting his wrists with a rusty razor if left alone.

Naruto and Sakura felt justified in being concerned for the Uchiha’s state of mind - he must have suffered irreparable mental trauma under Orochimaru’s tutelage, and it saddened

Thanks~~! NaruSaku is surprisingly easy to write for - they're very... flexible, as a couple, I think. And in canon, I think their relationship would be as close to 'normal' as it can get.

Btw, I was wondering where that remix meme on your journal went? I was looking through your old fics, trying to decide which one to choose... and I ended up reading them instead. And by the time I got back, it just. wasn't. there. D:

I'm glad you think it's brutally painful - fluff for this pairing gets written much too often, even though there is nothing fluffy about those two at all! except Sakura's cotton-candy hair XD

unfortunately, i am writing a fluff and smut heavens mercy, what a freaking contradiction for sasusaku right now. i've been writing a lot of sasusaku angst for the past couple of weeks that a friend asked for some smut and fluff.

i think i'll post it soon if i'll be able to finish it some time this week.

Wow, I'm glad you like this - it's actually just a rough draft/summary of a fic I had planned for my own experimenting pleasure. I had just intended to write some acceptable smut for it, initially, so I'm a bit disappointed with how... vague the actual smut came out. I tried adding some smut, but the mood of the fic just wouldn't co-operate. ;__; Sasuke and Sakura are both so stubborn. :|

The mood of the fic does seems very much more SasuSaku-psyche oriented than smut-oriented. I empathize on the stubborness though. Well, maybe it'll come around eventually. :D

Really - the main reason I wanted to do smut is because I've never seen it done... believably for this pairing (Weeks Before he Left by propertyoftheuchiha being an exception), so I thought I'd try.

And maybe they'll stop being stubborn one day. Maybe./isn't hopeful (I'll try writing out smut again when Sasuke's psyche isn't as fragile. seriously, that kid is such a dramaqueen. XD)
