Just applied to be part of the "Yelp team," although I'm not optimistic about my chances of landing anything. The promotional photograph looks like an advertisement for an Asian-American version of Queer as Folk. Oh well, we'll see. In other news, I took the advice of a good friend and finally created a Linkedin profile . Not sure how helpful it

LinkedIn won't show me your profile because we don't know anyone in common.

LinkedIn is good to have if you're a freelancer; a lot of my contacts are musicians.

I'm hoping this facilitates the job search, at least more than some of the other methods I've tried which haven't born fruit.
