I can understand where you are coming from about the immigration. It bothers me when illegal immigrants come into this country illegaly and get federal aide for school and other things. Is it so hard to help our own citizens. I'm disagreeing with you Amanda, cause I'm a conservative. No just kidding but that's what I think. Hehe. But really, I'm conservative in the most part.

But illegal immigrants don't get federal aid - for school, for anything. That's why their employers treat them like crap and believe human rights issues need not apply and that's why the kids go on starving and why they can't get a decent education. It all goes on unnoticed because they can't complain. If they do, the migra comes and takes them away.
Believe me, I know - they do not get federal aid.

Ah, last time I heard about that it was still going through legislation and hadn't been passed yet. Knowing the government, I thought it wouldn't be passed but I guess I was wrong. I read up on it and the only states that do offer aid are Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. My opinion is this - kids are kids and they have a right to an education no matter if their parents have a stupid paper or not. Is it really right to punish kids because their parents are illegal? Put yourself in that situation - how would you feel?
