IOA talk- may be Stargate Atlantis spoilers through season 5

Going off of my earlier rant (see previous entry) the depiction of the IOA has started to really annoy me.

What's wrong with civilian oversight? You know- us crazy civilians aren't idiots and occasionally we come up with some good ideas. Because- hello- lots of people in those committees have military or some kind of international experience.

I'm really glad that I don't watch SGA, and really don't watch TV other than SPN, The food Channel, and the cool station that has all that home design stuff on it.....

Oh, see I don't want people not to watch the show- I criticize because I love ;)

It's like Supernatural- you must watch the show and occasionally think- oh, no, no no, why did you do that? I've been having those moments with SGA, interspersed with a lot of episodes that made me squeeeeeeeeee! So it's still a good show, just a depressing sign of, IMO, the dark times we live in.
