We finally have the A/C back after some pushing I had to do with my landlord and HVAC guy. Thank God too, because I don't think I could have fared another sleepless night. It made it up to 83 in here

You forgot to add that the air only worked for one night. Something weird is happening though...the air conditioner is not on....and there is a slightly cool (not cold) air blowing from the vents. What is that? Stupid air conditioning/landland person will not re-address the issue until Monday because they come from Hell.
