Ok. So everyone's heard by now of the tragic death of "Croc Hunter" Steve Irwin. I'm actually sad about it, so don't expect any snark. However, I do have a question for you all.
Nope, he was about a metre above it in the water, while the stingray was apparently lying in the sand at the bottom. It must have felt threatened by the presence of Steve and the cameraman, and it whipped its tail upwards in defence. It was a huge thing, like a couple of metres long, so the tail was long and powerful and the barb would have been about 20cm long. It was just a total fluke that it happened to get him right in the heart, they say he probably could have survived if it had been an inch or two to either side

I want to see it. I mean, he filmed his life basically.. So why not the end of it? He was there for a reason, as stupid as it could be.. Why not show it? I'd be interested.

all i can guess was he was hugging one and it whipped around and some how the stinger went in his chest ?
