There is a Hannah-Barbara cartoon that had a laser-sword wielding barbarian, a black haired woman in blue and a weird cross of a lion and gorilla thing that was really strong and made nothing but snarling noises...oh there were laser guns and space ships and, damn if I can't remember the arch nemesis.

Anybody remember the name?

Thundarr the Barbarian. With Princess Ariel and Ookla the Mok. No one ever explained what a Mok was.

Minor historical note: the world ended in 1994.

I'm don't recall if there was an arch-nemesis. I think it was more free-form than that.
