I really supported Obama more than Clinton, I voted for him, because his character seemed better than Clinton's. Some would say this is silly, but the two are not really that different, so it came down to that

They should stop this squabbling, do a joint ticket with Hillary as Pres and Obama a Vice and win the Pres nomination.
Why? In what universe does it make sense for the front-runner, in a race that hasn't played out yet and where he can pull further ahead, to step aside and take second place voluntarily? If Clinton were truly committed to the idea, she should withdraw now and offer to be Obama's V-P.
The problem is, Obama and Clinton have different views of where they want the party and the nation to go; there's no win here for either to deliberately subjugate himself to the other.
while it's true that they do have particular goals that may not coincide, they do have rather similar immediate goals.
well, either way really. I'm just thinking in terms of the experience and total time left to pursue political goals. If Obama does VP, then he can gain the experience a lot of Dems are unhappy with him about and Clinton can get her time in office without being an old croner.
You're probably right though, they wouldn't want to be on the same ticket as each other. Which means this is going to drag on for too damn long. And then Edwards will probably be the VP to whoever gets it.
