I found this story about a man who was dying in the hospital, it was like his last few minutes, and the nurses wouldn't let his partner of 27 years [also a male] into the room, and so this man had to die alone.

What you told me remember me about a thing I've saw on TV, a movie, maybe, I think it was E.R., something about two old ladies that were in love... Don't remeber well...
