Do you want your friend's page and your journal entries page to have the same phrases on the links? I think I've just emailed you some override stuff that should work (it's based on my comment lines - with the words you want plugged in instead). Just put them into the overrides box in the Modify Journal section. If that doesn't work with the style you're using, just erase it. I'd also ask in a layout community.
