What will it take to break this cycle?
Hard as I try
My heart just keeps destroying itself

Bursting into flames nightly only to rise from its own ashes when morning comes
Like the phoenix,
Dying just to be born again;
All this self-destruction just keeps getting easier to do,
The harder my mind tries to rationalize my fears
