Written for fun out of sheer work induced boredom, enjoy.
Most men would be thrilled to find they have a son. Someone they could pass on their worldly knowledge as well as their worldly goods.
Indiana Jones was not most men.
He was terribly uncomfortable with the very idea of this young man being dumped into his life with the label of 'son' slapped on to him by a woman he hadn't seen for nearly two decades.
He was terribly uncomfortable with the little nagging voice in the back of his head, mocking him and the way he watched to boy to close. The way those casual touches lingered just a tad too long.
He figures he should feel horrified, ashamed or by god, at least a little guilty. Anything but wonderfully good. But there he is awash with good feeling.
He feels especially good when he has Mutt pinned up against the wall with his knee between his legs and his mouth at his throat.
He figures he should be disgusted with himself, but can't be bothered. No when Mutt gives him that look and begs oh so sweetly.
And, if he were honest with himself, and he always is; finding out Mutt was his son did little to change how he thought of the kid. No, Indiana Jones had fallen far to deep to even begin to pull himself out.
They would never be father and son. They were both to old to play the parts Marion so desperately wanted them to play.
They were simply too people who just happened to be related.
And while most men would be loath to even think about making their son scream their names.
Well...
Indiana Jones was most certainly not most men.
