Blah...

Still blah. But able to edit up the first of the next three pages on Potions. Last few weeks have made it almost impossible to regain and hold a train of thought while writing, as I keep thinking about all the stuff I needed/still need to do for the holidays, followed by *bargh*.

So I just rambled along in my outline for Day Two, and ignored the 'next page', mostly.

Although I am finally setting up the final scenes for one character in particular (a final scene that was the first scene I wrote in the extended form of the original drabble), so I am of the happy.

Trying to write three distinct characters, and have them all have completely different reasons/motivations for being where they are while giving hints (but not too obvious hints) about where each might go after the scene is done (which it still is not)... well, not easy. Fun, but not easy.

Re-read a bit of the Agatha Christie I read yesterday - dang, if she doesn't put all the tiny clues out there and still have you not notice at the time. Wonder how she wrote her books - organization and all that... I'd love to master the subtle 'here's a personality clue you completely missed or took for the wrong thing' art of dropping red herrings...

...a trip to an wonderfully exotic place to gather 'writing material and ambiance' wouldn't be bad, either. :D May just have to settle for the Carribean and some pirates, tho.

Hopefully the *blahs* hold steady or lighten over the next few days. Bleh, pedialyte. Only thing better when you're not feeling well? When one of the pets also starts feeling icky. Why? Why? I do not want to clean that up, even on the best of days. Urg. Thank you, Boo.
