At last!!
I have found a book in 'Romance' that is funny as hell, touching, has more than two characters, a woman that is relatable and slightly sassy, a man that really loves his seven year old son and a seven year old son that is true to a seven year old boy, and artfully written, climactic smexy scenes. (Haven't reached the end, so I don't know just *how* smexy it will get, but she is very good at building tension between the male and female leads, and not at the expense of the guy! OMG!)
However, as my brother gave me his Christmas present early, more of the write-up will follow in a future post. I need more sinus relief (thanks for the cold on x-mas Eve, bro. :p ). Sounds like hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps time...

Oh, and every chapter has a chapter heading straight from 'Weekly World News'. No sightings of the Bat Boy yet (apparently it was a really poorly written story, according to the female lead. *snicker*). I like Chapter Ten's: "Squirrel is Proven Aphrodisiac". No word yet on why. Tune in later for more...
Ah-hah. Because the 'squirrels' lead to one of the best written non-kinky smexy scene (with the longest foreplay!!) I've read outside of the world of eroticaz! O.M.G! That's why. And then they have cake. Who needs breakfast after a night/morning like that? *snicker*
