Some of the topics could be really interesting if I could just get over this random tendency to look down on Latin American history.

haha thanks but it is really terrible of me. There is some very important and cool history in Latin America if I can just stop being an ass and stop thinking of Latin American as Europe's sad, failed experiment.

Ah! I would give almost anything to be able to take a Victorian fiction course! Holy snap am I jealous!

Have you talked to anyone else in your statistics class about the prof or anything like that? Maybe they can help you or something.. I pretty much understand the worry of having to drop it fairly well either way.

Apparently it has always been like this. Last year's TA told me to skip it as often as I could, read the book a bunch of times and work with this year's TA all the time. Pretty much what I will have to do. I have a TA session tonight, right on time too 'cause the homework is due tomorrow and I think I did a chapter wrong. But the amount of work is freaken scary. One class shouldn't take so much time.

I like Victorian fiction okay (not too fond of Dickens but oh well) it is just that I don't understand how to study it.
