( She's never thought about him before, ever, and she doesn't even think she'd recognize him out of context, so she's not quite sure why this smell of coffee so reminds her of him. )

Very sweet story... someone mentioned above about hearing this in Ackles' POV, and I think it would be very interesting. Would love to see a continuation with his thoughts intertwined. :)
