it is that time again

it seems to get earlier every year. but i know its not time related. its part weather related. its part time related only in the sense of seasons, and the fall and winter seasons come earlier every year. regardless of what the calendar says. perhaps its only seasonal in my mind, perhaps i am just slowly sinking into what will eventually become

I hate winter. well, except for the snow, that can stay. It should just be sunny and 85 all the time. Then 30 with snow and patches of sun. then I would be happy all year long!

d. I'm with you. I used to call the fall "my time". It brought up that feeling of new...the new schoolyear, the upcoming holidays, the air, the leaves, the change...it just meant I didn't have to feel however I was feeling at the time. It was an excuse, but a good one, and I welcomed it.

But recently, within the last year or so, I started thinking something else when the smell of that first fire hit my nose. I stop feeling good about it. I stop thinking about what good is going to come with the new season. For all I know...it could be someone's house burning down.
