I ran a short 4th ed encounter last night, just because I need more experience with it. While it didn't come up in the actual fight, I found myself looking up "catching yourself if forced movement throws you off a cliff", something near and dear to the heart of shipboard fights

Alternatively, an Acrobatics check - though that of course doesn't scale, unless the check is versus some value of the attacker's (something that I don't think has any metarule precedent).
